Iran’s ‘Headless’ to be presented at Cannes Market

Iranian movie ‘Headless’ has been selected to appear at the Cannes online Film Market (the Marché du Film) in France.

Directed by Kaveh Sajjadi, a short synopsis for the film reads “Why do you want to kill them? They understand as much as a 2-year-old child understands”.

The main actors of the film are Elham Korda and Mehdi Koushki.

Other actors include Roya Teymourian, Kazem Sayyahi, Nasser Sajjadi-Hosseini, Mohammad-Reza Farzad, Mahsa Baqeri, Alireza Riahi and Iraj Shahzadi.

The Marché du Film is an annual event for the professionals in the film industry to connect.

Filmmakers, buyers, distributors and others come see the event as an opportunity to introduce their works and connect to each other.

The 73rd online edition of the event will take place on June 22-26, 2020.
